Recurring bookings & invoicing a client

From setting up a service that repeats every week, through to turning the visits it creates into a bill an owner actually pays.

  1. Turn on repeats when you create the booking

On the booking form, switch on repeats and choose a pattern — weekly is the common case, e.g. a group walk every Friday at 1:30pm.

  2. Each occurrence stands on its own

Every repeat shows up individually on Schedule and can be marked done, edited, or cancelled without affecting the rest of the series — cancelling one Friday doesn't touch the next one.

  3. Visits pile up as unbilled services

As you mark bookings done, they don't automatically turn into an invoice. Billing's outstanding total only reflects bills you've actually created — services sit as unbilled until then.

  4. Create a bill when you're ready

From Billing or a client's own page, tap into their unbilled services. You'll see every unbilled service for them with a running total, and you choose which ones to include — billing isn't automatically weekly or monthly, you decide the cut-off each time.

  5. Mark it received once they've paid

Barkerway doesn't take payment itself — there's no card processing in the app. Once you've been paid by whatever means you normally use, tap Mark received on that bill.
